Cupcake heaven was created in November 2011 after many months of experimenting with different recipies & a cake decorating class at the local cupcake shop.
My day job is as a Librarian in a University library in Lancaster, but my spare time is spent baking & creating sugarcraft icing & other delicious toppings with my 2 boys (who aren't actually allowed to do the icing - yet!!).

Even with the IT expertise of an 11 year old who would call himself an IT geek, we have been miffed by website design, so have settled on Blogger for now for those people not on Facebook.
Orders are coming in thick and fast, which is very exciting - lots of orders for christmas themed cupcakes, for a special birthday, a lovely little girl's first birthday, and even a summer wedding (fingers crossed).
